Broadclose in Bude, Cornwall has received the Richard Feilden Award for affordable housing.
ECD Architects were masterplanners, for this major extension to the town of Bude, producing a masterplan which responded to topography, views and orientation. The plan was to create a series of housing clusters served by Homezone streets and semi private courtyards.
The design was developed in consultation with local residents and stakeholders and was implemented by Guinness Trust and Midas Homes with architects Trewin Design Partnership.
