ECD Architects' scheme for 161 private homes, 6 retail units and 2 community facilities on the British Estate on Bow Road received Planning Approval from LB Tower Hamlets alongside proposals for the refurbishment and improvement of the existing estate. The new two to six storey development will be constructed principally in contrasting facing brick and insulated render with the community facility articulated in glazed bricks. Feature elevations along the Bow Road incorporate terracotta panels and baguettes across a glazed curtain wall.
