Planning Success in Newhall |

ECD Architects have received Planning Approval for the design of Plots 1L1-3 of the Newhall Development in Harlow. The 3 storey (plus attic) terraces will provide flats and maisonettes for affordable rent within the new Newhall community. The design is based on traditional materials such as brick and timber boarding with a modern articulation: the timber rainscreen wrapping over the pitched roofs, and zinc accents on the elevations. The buildings are due to start on site in June 2007.
ECD Architects were also responsible for the design of Plot 1L4 which is currently on site. This first phase of Plot1L is due to complete in Summer 2007.
