Brief: Low carbon refurbishment of a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO)
Sustainability Initiatives: thermal insulation, condensing gas boilers, solar water heating, mechanical ventilation and heat recovery, low energy lights and appliances


The objective of this project was to demonstrate how a 60% reduction in CO2 emissions could be achieved in the refurbishment of a 6 storey Listed Georgian terraced house, containing 18 bedsits and a self contained basement flat. The project was funded by RBKC and the Energy Savings Trust and is currently being monitored.
