Two identical towers on the Roscoe Street estate, built in the 1950's, have been refurbished with consequent improvements to their visual appearance and energy efficiency. New high performance double glazed windows, together with an average of 200mm of insulation applied externally with an acrylic render finish has resulted in 60% reduction of CO₂ emissions.
