The house occupies a one acre south facing sloping site with views across the Camel Estuary. Living spaces are located on the first floor with bedrooms at ground level. The curved zinc roof overhangs to provide summer shading whilst allowing passive solar heat gain in the winter. Construction is traditional masonry with rendered walls and high performance glazing.
