The site, previously used as a care home, is located in a tree lined suburban street. Three storey flats are positioned on the frontage with the two storey replacement care homes to the rear of the site. Construction was in traditional load bearing masonry with brick and timber cladding. Completed in 1998, the buildings are weathering well and are economic to run.
